2011-April. Dibbs achievies its one year goal of “critical mass dominance” in its test market or Reno, NV:  the benchmark point where it has the same amount of local events traffic as all other events services put together.

2011-April. Dibbs partners with Luxor cab company for its SF LAMP plan:  every receipt in the cab is printed on the back of a colorful Dibbs flyer.  SF residents are highly “cab-o-centric”, and Luxor cab hands out of 100,000 receipts per month to customers, future plans are for Dibbs videos to loop in backseat video consoles.

2011-March. Dibbs launches iPhone v1.5, with corresponding iPad app, Android app, and website versions. The new version rolls out “dibbs search”, a new location-based search technology that can directly grasp all events, all venues, all categories, and so on, by keyword, location, and geographic search distance.  The app contains a new feature where users can add any event to their calendar with a single tap, and get reminders.

2011-March. Dibbs and the Knitting Factory nightclub agree to expand and enhance their relationship. The Knitting Factory agrees to provide Dibbs with additional free tickets to give away to Dibbs users in exchange for Mobile Interactive Promotion on Dibbs. Dibbs also negotiates the right to promote at all Knitting Factory shows.

2011-March. Dibbs and Americomm Broadcasting reach an agreement in principle to expand their cross-promotional advertising relationship. Americomm agrees to provide Dibbs with advertising on all seven of their radio stations in the Reno/Tahoe market in exchange for Mobile Interactive Promotions on Dibbs.

2011-March. Less than one year after launch, Dibbs’ share value has climbed 60%.

2011-March. Dibbs begins development on “Project EventPortal-2”, a new multi-pronged technology further increase EventScout’s dominance in gathering more quality event information than any other service. 2011-March. Dibbs has been used 100,000 times since its launch less than a year ago.

2011-March. Dibbs and CBS Radio, the largest owner of radio stations in the Bay Area, form a strategic alliance reaching ten million listeners on five different stations through the new Dibbs Download feature. CBS adds several 15 and 30 second Dibbs radio spots to their rotation. Dibbs distributes thousands of coasters co-branded with CBS' alternative rock station Live 105 to popular bars and venues in the Bay Area.

2011-March. Dibbs reaches 15,000 users.  Web traffic adds an estimated 30% more users (~19,500).
